 New students planning to start Summer or Fall term

  • Go to go.chemeketa.edu/apply to get the steps to getting started and apply
  • Once you get your student ID #, take the online placement assessment
  • You will be sent an email with information about claiming your my.chemeketa (student portal) account
  • Log into your my.chemeketa and watch the New Student Orientation Video
  • Book an in-person First Term Advising appointment with the Yamhill Valley advisors. Call 503.472.9482 to schedule

Chemeketa Yamhill Valley offers in-person and remote classes to help you learn the skills you need to start an in-demand career. Our remote classes allow you to participate in live, scheduled class lectures and meetings from the comfort of your own home.

 Chemeketa Yamhill Valley Campus

Chemeketa Yamhill Valley provides a fully accredited community college in the heart of Yamhill County. We began serving the Yamhill Valley in 1974, moving into a state-of-the-art facility in 2011.

As a full campus, you can do all the work you need for a degree or certificate at Yamhill Valley. We also provide numerous services to make your college life better –

  • Academic and financial aid advising
  • Counseling support services
  • Student clubs and activities
  • Student accessibility services
  • Library and tutoring center
  • Open computer labs
  • Testing services
  • Conditioning/fitness center
  • Cafe (currently closed). Vending machines are available at this time.

    To search for classes offered at the Yamhill Valley Campus:

    • Go to the class search
    • At "choose Term" select Summer or Fall
    • At "include" make sure credit is checked
    • At "location" select Yamhill Valley Campus
    • All other boxes you can leave at the default or any
    • Click on the "search classes" button below
    • The next page will be a list of all of the classes being offered at the Yamhill Valley Campus (YVC)
    • You can click on any of the classes to get the course description, days and times offered, and instructor
  • CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION

    The Yamhill Valley Campus offers a number of career & technical education programs –

  • COMMUNITY EDUCATION

    We are not offering any community education classes spring term. 

    More information about Chemeketa's community education classes in Salem and the surrounding area is available online.
